A Farm Built on Purpose
Cithu Chicken Farm was founded in 2005 in the lush highlands of Chikmagalur, Karnataka, with a single conviction: that premium quality poultry should be accessible to every institutional kitchen and retail partner in South India.
What began as a 500-bird breeding operation has grown into one of Karnataka's most integrated poultry businesses — spanning breeding farms, hatcheries, an antibiotic-free feed mill, 200+ broiler farm partners, an ISO 22000-certified processing plant, and a temperature-controlled cold chain distribution network.
Today, Cithu processes over 1 million birds per month and serves leading hotel chains, restaurant brands, and retail chains across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

Founded
Cithu Chicken Farm established in Chikmagalur with 500 parent birds and a vision for quality poultry farming.
First Hatchery
Commissioned our first modern hatchery with a capacity of 50,000 eggs per cycle, achieving 95%+ hatch rates.
Feed Mill Launch
Built our own antibiotic-free feed mill to control nutrition quality at the source.
ISO 22000 Certified
Achieved ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP certification for our processing plant — a first in the region.
